Graduated from the Music Department, Instrumental Section, of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.

Completed the Master's degree program of the above University.

1980
|
From 1980 until 1991 studied conducting under one of the leading conductors in Japan, Prof. Kazuo YAMADA.

1985
|
Took part as an active conducting student in the Opera Course of Prof. Hartmut HAENCHEN at the Kirishima International Music Festival and Courses.

1987
|
Completed the Vienna Master Courses and received the "Conductor with Orchestra" diploma for conducting the Pro Arte Orchestra. Studied under Prof. Julius KALMAR.
The same year studied under Prof. Guennadi ROZHDESTVENSKY at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana.

Took part as a conductor in the International Workshop for Conductors in Zlin, the Czech Republic, conducting the Oromouc Chamber Orchestra and the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic. Received extra instruction from J. BELOHLAVEK and M. MACHEK.

From 1980 to 1987 was the conductor for the Japan Shinsei Symphony Orchestra (formerly the Shinsei Nihon Symphony Orchestra).

From 1983 has been the standing conductor for the NIPPON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Wind Ensemble.

From 1985 has been the standing conductor for the Musashi University Tone Chamber Orchestra.

From 1985 to 1988 was the standing conductor for the Koshigaya City Symphony Orchestra.
